All club members are welcome to nominate for any position within the committee. We encourage parents to get involved to ensure the club runs at it’s full potential. See below the estimated time required for each role, for further information on any role please email [email protected]
* We have 5 committee meetings per year. Attendance at these meetings (for positions specified below) is preferred but not essential as long as we have a quorum each occasion.
President

Vice President

- General admin (1 hour per fortnight)

Registrar
- VOTING POSITION
- Admin (1-2 hours a week for the first month)
- Minimal admin thereafter (monitor email inbox)
- Attend the first 3-4 trainings (Mondays)
- Attend 5 meetings per year – 45-60min (can be zoom)
Treasurer
- VOTING POSITION
- Admin (1-2 hours a month)
- Attend 5 meetings per year - 45-60min (can be zoom)
Hamersley Delegates (x2)
- VOTING POSITIONS
- Attends Hamersley Athletics Meetings
- Attends Karrinyup Committee Meetings
- Can be a shared role so divide meetings/commitments in half.
Records Officer
- Maintains the Karrinyup Records in the Blue Book
- Runs mid-season and end of season reports for the club awards (with the assistance from the Hamersley Records Officer).
Uniforms Officer
- Monitors stock levels
- Places uniform orders
- Attend first 4-5 trainings to sell uniforms
Working With Children Officer (was vacant in 2023/24)
- Keeps a record of our volunteer parents/coaches and updates as needed
- Total 5-6 hours for the season
Coaching Coordinator (was vacant in 2023/24)
- Works with the committee on training strategy/outline
- Helps to coordinate our group of coaches
- Able to attend most trainings (Mondays)
- 15min admin per week plus trainings
Rosters Coordinator
- Puts together the roster schedules
- Sends reminders
- Admin 1 hour per month
BBQ Coordinator
- Places the orders for the BBQ
- Liaises with the ‘food prep’ volunteers to coordinate any pick-ups or prep.
- 3 times per year
