KLAC are very proud of our athletes when they achieve their personal bests and at the same time break previous KLAC records.  Any records broken (if not an officially authorised HLAC record) are simply taken off the results sheets provided from ResultsHQ.  However, on occasion technical issues impact the event which means the results as listed are in doubt for recognition of records broken and may only be notified to Clubs after the event.  Unfortunately, a previously acknowledged record by Siella de Wit in the U7G 60mH of 13.04s is in doubt due to technical issues in running the event.  So unfortunately KLAC will not be able to recognise this record at this time.  Good news though, Siella is the current record holder with a time of 13.18s and we will be all cheering Siella on to improve this for the rest of the season

Well done to the following athletes who broke records on 8th November 2014.

U11G    Luka Samuels   60mH   10.72s      (previous was 11.03s)

U13G    Emma Bond      Javelin     28.03m    (previous was 26.44m)

Well done to Alex Perin who has equalled the U10B High Jump Scissors record of 1.23m

Well done to the following athletes who broke records on 25th October 2014 which were in the same events that had records broken in the week prior.

U7G       Siella de Wit     60mH      13.04s        (previous was 13.18s)

U13G    Jade Whyte      Javelin     26.44m       (previous was 26.21m)

Parent Participation Award

The club was very proud to win the Parent Participation award from Hamersley Centre for season 2012/13. KLAC has a very strong tradition of excellent Set-up and Pack-away teams. Again, last season our parents involved in these activities set a high standard. It is for this reason we received the trophy below.

70's Training Handbooks

Found some coaching handbooks from the 70's during a Hamersley clean up. Thought the artwork and fashions would add some colour to our site. Trevor (one of our coaches) would prefer if the child with the shot put was holding it much closer to her neck!
